Citizens for a Safe & Secure Raleigh conducted a survey among 600 likely general election voters in the city of Raleigh between Nov. 4-6, 2025.

More than half of Raleigh voters fear that crime will get worse in their neighborhoods

Almost three-fourths voters expect crime to worsen downtown

Two thirds of city voters rate crime as very important

Compared to voters’ other concerns, crime was twice as important as city taxes (12%) and three times as important as jobs and the economy (8%).
